Mr. Benton, for himself, others, submits
A BILL
to establish parental notification and consent regarding abortions on minors.
Section I. NAME
a. This bill shall be known as the "Parental Notification and Consent Act of 2009"
Section II. PROVISIONS
a. Any doctor performing an abortion on a minor must recieve the consent of at least one parent of the minor in question.
b. Any doctor found in violation of this bill shall face fines no less than $10,000.
Section II. ENACTMENT
a. This bill is effective upon the signature of the President.
