BLITZER: "So far, firefighters have managed to get the cat down without injury to any bystanders or to the cat itself, but City Council Roger Wilkins -- hold on, ladies and gentlemen. I'm being told that US Air Force jets have begun bombing runs against the Islamic Republic of Iran. President Warder was caught by the press on his daily jog around the Washington D.C. Tidal Basin...

WARDER: "Yes, I gave the order for the US Air Force to begin attacks against strategic Iranian assets--nuclear facilities, training camps, research labs, we're gonna take all of it out. Our goal is -- to cripple Iran's military ability to wage war. The Israelis are contributing -- and the United Kingdom has promised to -- assist us through their intelligence gathering abilities. Look, I'm going to be giving an address to the nation -- later today, got it?"

BLITZER: "One of the first targets to be hit by US planes was the Bushehr nuclear reactor, where Iran has been carrying out clandestine experiments to build their recently deployed nuclear weapons."
(camera: footage from a US Air Force jet of missiles being launched, followed by massive explosions on the ground; background chatter on military radio channels is heard)
BLITZER: "The US Air Force claims to have a list of over 60 secret targets, which they cannot release to the public because it would give Iran an edge in undertaking military countermeasures. So far, the Iranian Air Force has avoided engagements, but Iranian ground forces have been firing surface to air missiles at US Air Force planes. There have been no casualties so far on the US or Israeli side, but hundreds of Iranians are presumed dead in attacks on, so far, over six facilities. We'll bring you more as this situation develops... stay tuned to CNN. We'll be back after this short break."
