Hello!
Thank you for stopping in on Capitol Hill v. 3.0.
The Capitol Hill franchise was started by a good friend of mine and later continued by another good friend of mine. Now it seems like it's my turn to take a spin on politics.
You're all welcome to join. Pick a party - Democrat or Republican - and start posting away. If you want, you can even be an Independent. However, if you are, you won't get access to either of the party war rooms.
The principle behind this game is simple: You will get back what you put in. I will make sure that creativity is respected, that bureaucracy exists only where absolutely necessary, that I listen to your concerns.
However, I will also have to come down with hard decisions sometimes, especially when issues we care deeply about are involved.
My promise to you is that those decisions will be as fair as possible. And I will always ask the players involved for their opinion, and take it into due consideration.
I also promise to regularly post news scenarios for foreign and domestic policy, ranging from wars, military issues, technological advancement to the economy, trade policy, the environment and issues of faith and society.
My reward is the satisfaction of running a fun, fair, enjoyable game where everybody can argue, debate and indulge in the wonderful world of political fantasy.
Welcome to Capitol Hill!
- E.
