The Washington State Gay Right's Bill Sunday December 10, 2005[/b]
Rep. Green was caught outside of his home church in Denver Colorado Sunday Afternoon. Standing under the huge cross in front of Heritage Christian Center an Evangelical Church he smiles as the reporters ask him about the gay marriage bill in Washington State.. "Thank you for asking me that question. I feel that Marriage as defined by law is a union between a man and woman. My personal religious beliefs do not tolerate a gay lifestyle. My comments may be offensive to some and for that i apologise. I belive that we should not discriminate against gays when it comes to the workforce, government services, political offices, and for the most part most American rights. And while i may sound hypocritical i must stress my own position. I support the Vice President in his efforts, and i pray that the Governor of Washington may be given a double portion of strength and resolve to stand and do whats right for his people. Veto the bill! Gay unions are not marriages. They should not be considered for tax breaks, and other benifits of being married. Do whats right and stand up to the liberals who would find it best that we change time honored tradition and pure ol' American morals. Veto the bill! Thank you.. No More Questions..."

Party Unity: For Immediate Release to News Agencies
Dear Friends,
I am writing a brief statement to state the facts about my open opposition in regards to tax cuts from our budget. I love the GOP, i think our President is wonderful he is the type of leader this nation needs. Though i wish for more support regarding the Gay Marriage concerns i do understand his position. I salute the Vice President for his courage in standing up to those who would defile the institution of marriage.
In regards to my controversial statements made on the house floor i would like to make some things clear. I support our Majority leader, i support the party platform. But i will not support tax cuts to the poor without further legislation to make it useful for them. Some in my party may be enangered by my words but let me explain.
I came from the Five Point's in Denver Colorado. The poorest neighboorhood there. My mother was addicted to cocaine and my father not around. I lived with aunts who tried working but couldent find good paying jobs. They dident have education or the skills to obtain those jobs. I saw my aunt stay on welfare for four years obtaining a college degree. Without welfare she wouldent have been able to go to school. She wouldent be a successful real estate developer in Colorado, no she would still be poor in the ghetto. And she wouldent be paying the kind of taxes she pay's today. The system helped her like it helps so many others.
I believe we should trim the fat. And i would support cuts in this department if legislation was created to make the departments more efficent in helping people become tax paying citizens not living off the system. So in the close of this letter i am willing to work with the Majority Leader on getting the ammendment passed if he is willing to work with me to trim with a scapel not a broadsword.
Ever loving to all of my constituents in Colorado,
Represenative Ken Green (R-CO-1)

Daily Press Brief For Immediate Release[/i][/b]
Party Unity:[/i] I have been under fire because i refuse to vote along party lines. The amendments to the budget are still unacceptable. Most American's know what its like to be poor. Many of our strongest tax paying citizens have had to use this assistance. I support balancing the budget. Hell i support cuts to welfare. However we should not cut the program so drastically that we hurt Americans who are trying to get thier lives together and need a little help. If we help them they help us later by becoming fruitful tax paying Americans. To our party i say make some cuts, dont make them drastic. To those who just live on welfare i say beware your government dosent want to help you. Form grassroots groups and protest! Also get off the system go to work, those who would live thier whole lives on the system i support cutting you. But those who need it to find work or go to school i say fight for your rights. On election day remember i'm fighting for you!
The Issues Concerning Iran:[/i] Mr. President i support you fully. Iran is a menace and she needs to be stopped before its too late. Iran and all her allies which would hide and assist her in her ultimate goal of genocide need to be stopped. I call on the UN to have some backbone! Going to Iraq was the right choice and you failed us. Do not fail us again, Christian's pray that the UN makes the right choice!
Sincerly,
Ken Green, Represenative from Colorado

Daily Press Brief... For Immediate Release
Iran/Syria
My friends, the time has come to take proactive steps again to restore stability to the Middle East. Iran has made some extremely inflamatory comments about Israel, our ally and friend. They are stockpiling Weapons of Mass Destruction and the time is now to do something! I support President's Warder's moves all the way. And i pray that the UN this time has some backbone to support him too. We were right about Iraq and were right about this. May God give our Congressmen the backbone to push through legislation that will help our President.
Agricultural Changes I fully support the farmer. Not the Farming Corporation's who have been robbing the farmer blind. But the actual every day worker on the farm. The one who gets up at the crack of dawn tp produce food and products for this great nation. I support the Majority Leader's call for grants, and i hope we can have more agricultural graduates. They can take thier knowledge and expertise and share it in thier communities...

Daily Press Brief For immediate release..[/i]
Syria/Iran Controversy[/color] Today we have heard the Dem's finally open thier mouth against the war. We knew it was comming, you know it, i know it, just suprised it took this long. The elder congressman from Iowa wants to compare this to Iraq. He wants to compare our President to Bush. While i love and admire bush i say this is a diffrent circumstance. We read it in the news today about alliances and pacts. Hiding of Nuclear Weapons. And it appears the UN dosent have the backbone to do the job. We need to give President Warder the power to resolve this quickly. We must have intel, a plan and exit strategy but the signs are there. Israel is our ally and friend. And if Iran enters a shooting war with her its war all over. We can take steps to handle the problem now or face a nuclear exchange in the future, its your choice. This is an extreme danger and we dont like sending our fighting men into harms way. But this is what they have signed up for, to fight to defend America. And i have never known a more noble cause.

Daily Press Release For Immediate Release
"On Dem's and the Iran Situation"[/i] My fellow American's do you watch C-Span? Well surely you have seen the proceedings in the house this day. The Congressman from New York says the United States is "Conquering the world.". Now what i call these proceedings is "protecting our country." Our country is in danger if we continue to allow confirmed Weapons of Mass Destruction continue to reside in a unstable dictatorship's hands. Israel is our friend and Ally in deed. And she is in trouble my friends. She has been threatened and now we must do something. How far will Iran have to go to prove thier intentions? Scuds to Tel Aviv, Jerusalem? How about Bagdhad, Afghanistan? How about nukes to London, or even New York, Washington DC? Will it take a nuke headed for the House Floor to alert these democrats about the severity of the situation. Action must be taken now to ensure the safety of this nation and her allies. You hear me dems? We must first try and work out the situation by diplomatic means, HOWEVER if those means do not work then we need the tools to go in and get the job done. I am not one for sending our men and women into war. But this is what they train for, to protect the United States. They have a job to do, give them the power to do it.
Sincerly,
Ken Green

Daily Press Brief For immediate Release
Green at Willow Creek Church
Ken Green met with a coalition of pastors and friends at the largest church in the nation. The fundraiser turned out to be a great success. But even more than this success was the ability to meet with prestigious men of God. He is working with Rod Parsley and the Center for Moral Clarity a Washington religious thinktank to build a coalition of pastors all over the midwest. He is depending upon the people of God to help support the re-election of himself and his midwestern comrades.

Marriage Amendment:
I would like to take a few seconds to explain why i belive this amendment is wrong. I am a bible beliving Christian. I have come to know God's plan for mankind through this his manuscript. In the beginning he made Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. He also commanded that these things not be practiced they go against the natural order and nature of humanity. He destroyed cities for thier refusal of obedience by committing Sodomy. And so i ask you my friends the voters to support me on this issue, SAY NO to the Liberals and protect our American Values and way of life.
