Minor Fundraiser: Businessman's Luncheon, Marriot Hotel, Atlanta GA
Green was invited by the Black Businessmen of Atlanta Association to have lunch and accept a campaign contribution on behalf of the BBAA. Green showed up in a nice suit and tie and made sure to shake all the members hands and wives. He also ensured to get everyones name and thank everyone for thier support.
After a lunch of gourmet chicken ala king and sides, Ken Green stood to make a short speech. "Thank you very much for having me here. I want to thank the BBAA for this campaign contribution. It means alot to me that the well to do businessmen of Atlanta would do this for me. I believe in business, i believe in big business. I believe in the budget we just passed in the house. I believe in tax credits and grants to businessmen working in urban and low income areas. Now lets not front ourselves those are minority neighboorhoods. And you are the businessmen who will benifit and help others benifit from these funds. I will continue to fight for those monies and for your businesses, thank you!"
Green stood as he was presented the check by the BBAA chairman. After recieving the check and taking press shots he was off to handle other important needs and situations.
