"Ladies and Gentlmen,
This week, Iran and Syria have signed a protection pact on their weapons of mass destruction. Both have publically targetted the United States and our allies all over the globe. And now, Iran has just detonated nuclear weapons on the Afghan border.
My friends, this is not a test. This is not a warning. Our very livelihood is at risk. Our economy, our borders, our freedom.....our lives, my friends - we are in danger.
President Warder has taken an oath to protect and defend this nation, and he will do everything in his power. Furthermore, Congress must place the full authority to counter-act this threat in the President's hands. We must stop them now before they hurt us at home! We must stop them on their turf, not in our schools, our offices, our pastures....not in our living rooms.
Yet, some stall. As we speak, Democrats have lined up - rank and file - to vote against the Resolution to Authorize the use of Force against Iran and Syria. In the time of peril, how could they?
Our wives, our children, our families....the Democrats in Congress are placing them at risk and we cannot allow that.
The Republican Party stand resolute behind the President in order to protect and defend this great nation against all enemies.
My friends, our enemies want to hurt us badly and now they have the capacity to do it! We must act, and act now. We cannot afford to wait!
