Representative Rick McLaughlin (R-TX)
Centrist: 37/37
Center-right: 0/113
Far right: 24/74
Coalition: 61
Approval rating: *** (no change)
Comment: Rep. McLaughlin has been losing some coalition members to newcomers to the GOP. However, he has hammered out a coalition of libertarians (far-right) and centrists (realists) who support his fiscally conservative domestic agenda and assertive foreign policy. The Majority Leader's time has also been consumed in organizing for the upcoming election, in which the GOP is poised to make a strong showing - thanks largely to McLaughlin's work.
Representative Ken Green (R-CO)
Centrist: 0/37
Center-right: 0/113
Far right: 50/74
Coalition: 50
Approval rating: **** (no change)
Comment: Mr Green has gained repsect for resolving a dangerous situation in Atlanta, GA, where a fundamentalist group was camping out on an empty field outside of the city awaiting the apocalypse. Mr. Green has also been hitting up the religious right fundraising scene, and very effectively. He is the speaker for the GOP's religious element, and he has won the far-right over to his position, increasingly.
Representative James Lee Taggert (R-LA)
Centrist: 0/37
Center-right: 38/113
Far right: 0/74
Coalition: 38
Approval rating: *** (-*)
Comment: Taggert has been more quiet lately, though again this is not his fault. His coalition remains loyal to him, however, for the most part.
Representative Henry "Hank" Goodwin (R-KA)
Centrist: 0/37
Center-right: 75/113
Far right: 0/74
Coalition: 75
Approval rating: *** (new)
Comment: His 'fact-based initiatives' for fundraising have earned Rep. Goodwin the respect of his campaign donors. Many are looking for Goodwin to represent good old fashioned American values in the upcoming House election and draw in many other center-right Republicans through down to earth policy ideas that "restore America's faith in government."
Representative Emory Benton (R-FL)
Centrist: 0/37
Center-right: 0/113
Far right: 0/74
Coalition: TBD
Approval rating ** (new)
Comment: New presence, so far, not too much activity. Time will tell this new representative's roll.

Representative Jack Jenkins (D-GA)
Centrist: 0/33
Center-left: 109/109
Far left: 0/67
Coalition: 109
Approval rating: **** (no change)
Comment: The replacement for Dennis Retton - another Democrat stalwart who has rallied the Party in the absence of strong leadership. The kind of man who can make or break a minority. Will he carry the House in 2010?
Representative William Reynolds (D-IL)
Centrist: 33/33
Center-left: 0/109
Far left: 0/67
Coalition: 33
Approval rating: ** (new)
Comment: Very active in fundraising, increasingly active on the House floor, and a rising star of the Democratic Party. Mr. Reynolds, a former military man, is in the Wesley Clark tradition of Centrist Democrats, though his opposition to many of the Warder Administration's policies is outspoken.
Representative Ethan Hall (D-IA)
Centrist: 0/33
Center-left: 0/109
Far left: 67/67
Coalition: 67
Approval rating: *** (new)
Comment: An outspoken Democrat who has not had any compunction about laying into the Warder Administration. He has drawn a strong following of traditional liberals and those who are angry at an assertive American foreign policy.
Enda McNamara (D-MA)
t.b.d.
Approval rating: *** (no change)
Comment: New player.
