Minor Campaign Event: Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming
Green met with campaign volunteers and the residents of the great state of Wyoming. The supporters held up signs and waved them everywhere while Ken Green toured the park and met with locals. The locals helped him notice all the sights as he walked through his park. Standing at a podium he makes a speech with the Geyser as a backdrop. "We Americans of this region must care about our environment. Democrats will tell you that us Republicans dont care about the enviroment, this is not true. We very much so care about our enviroment. We care about this enviroment, i will fight to ensure we have more fundings to preserve not destroy our state parks. I also wanted to talk about Government Responsibility. It is our responsibility to do what is right with your tax dollar. The Republican party has done so, we have fought to balance the budget while saving essential programs and adding to programs that affect our day to day living. We are here because we care about your tax dollar. And so before i leave i invite you to watch our ad on TV tonight labeled, Fiscal Responsibility its important that you watch this ad. We want to show you our house record and how were fighting to ensure more tax cuts for you, more childcare, more family services, more agricultural services, we are using your tax dollars as they shold be spent to affect you. So remember on voting day to vote for the republican represenatives from Wyoming who are out there working and striving for you. Thank you.."
The crowd began to clap aloud as Ken stepped off the podium. He continued to meet with the crowd until it was time to leave for the next route in the campaign..

DAY1: Waco, Texas, Heartland Location: Waco City Hall. Topic: Fiscal Responsibility. Audience: Fiscal Conservatives.
McLaughlin stood on the steps of City Hall, joined by many supporters, Waco residents and local officials. His entrances was greeted by a cheering crowd waving banners of "McLaughlin for America", "GOP 4Ever", and "GOP Tax Relief"
"Ladies and Gentleman. It is my honor to stand before you as a member of the Republican-led House of Representatives who pushed through the first fiscally responsible budget in decades!
(cheers)
The new budget makes tax relief permanent and cuts the deficit. Welcome to the era of Fiscal Responsibility. And my friends, if you vote Republican, you are ensuring its continuation.
By making tax relief permanent, the Republican party is sending tax dollars back to the taxpayers. After all - the taxpayer knows how to spend their money better than politicians in Washington, D.C. Tax Relief helps the economy grow, gives consumers more confidence and increases federal revenue.
On top of the tax relief, the federal deficit has been cut by $92.07 billion. The Republican Party promised to significantly cut the deficit by the end of President Warder’s first term, and we’re already $92 billion dollars ahead of schedule.
This is the party of fiscal responsibility, economic confidence and tax relief for all Americans. I ask that you support our pro-growth, pro-tax relief, anti-deficit agenda by voting Republican.
Thank you, and may God Bless America.

GOP leading strongly in the Heartland.
At the moment public opinion is strongly in favor of the GOP. The GOP has 38% of the vote. Democrats have 32%. 30% of voters are as yet undecided. A strong early showing means that the Democrats will have to work very hard to close the popularity gap - perhaps through superior campaign organization.

Attack Ad: 1 "When is enough... Enough...." 60 Seconds....The screen fades to a closeup of this picture... Male Voice: "Ali Khamenei has associated himself with terrorists. This man has threatened the United States, he has threatened the now free societies of Afghanistan and Iraq. This man has threatened our allies Israel. They have shown thier might by detonating Nuclear weapons in our clear view. This terrorist who has no qualms against Americans with clear evidence of holding Weapons of Mass Destruction has threatened us. He has the weapons, he has the power, and he has the might to make his plans come true. How much is enough, the democrats choose to do nothing but soft talk and avoidance of the issue. On voting day, make the right choice, choose the party that will be there for you........... The screen fades leaving the following image.....

Day Two: Minor Event: Childrens Hospital, Kansas City, Kansas
Ken stood in front of the Camera's and audience at the opening of the new "Ken Green" Oncology Wing at the Childrens Hospital of Kansas City. Ken's foundation from Denver had made the expansions possible, and just in time for the house elections. Ken was dressed in a sharp black suit, a red shirt, and a red and gold tie. He looked to the people as he used the huge scicssors to cut the red ribbon on the wing. He then walked hand in hand with some cancer riddled children into the new wing which would treat them like kids but have the technology to treat them. Ken stood in front of the podium and smiled.
"Thank you for helping me make this dream possible. This new wing would not be possible without those who gave to our foundation all over the region. The children will be treated like kids, while living comfortably treating thier allictions. X-Box 360's, Playstation 2's and all sorts of toys and learning materials fill this place. But i just wanted to address the region for a few moments. Ladies and Gentlemen were under siege. We have a visable enemy who has threatened us and our allies. He has made a pact with Syria, he has hid his nuclear weapons. and then in brazen defiance he has tested them in our view. How much is enough? Do we have to have another 9/11 with tactical nuclear weapons? Do we have to see our enemies bombed? There is legislation to give our president the power to act if it becomes needed. Now no one wants to send our young men and women, our fighting men and women out to war. But if it becomes neccsary to protect our way of life they are ready. They are ready to pay the ultimate price for our freedom, for our way of life. I have voted for those powers as have most of my collegues. So Americans, dont take weak leadership anymore, its your choice, you have the power, use that power next week when you VOTE! Thank you!" Pictures flashed as Green got down on his knees and began talking with the kids, signing autographs and giving hope that they too could be congressmen and women some day...

Day 2: Goodwin Minor Event
Kansas Farm Bureau Rally Wichita, Kansas
With thousands of farmers from across Kansas gathered at the rally, the President of the KFB began the meeting: “Recently, politicians in our nation’s capitol tried to ram through legislation to cut off support for farmers. One man had the courage to stand up to this legislation. This same man took his years of experience in staring down opposing hitters and stared down the President himself, rising alone to assure that our government would not abandon America’s farmers. This man has further proposed bold legislation to take American Agriculture into the future. I am proud to introduce congressman Hank Goodwin.”
Goodwin strode confidently to the podium to thunderous applause from the assembled farmers.
“Thank you, Mr. President. And thank you all for taking time out of your hard work to listen to me say a few brief words. I am proud to be one of a long line of representatives who have stood up for American agriculture. It is the greatest privilege of my career to have been able to serve such a noble cause, and to have stopped a bill that would have devastated our nation’s farmers. But our work is not finished yet. I ask for your continued support to send me back to Washington with new allies that will allow us to pass the legislation America’s farmers need. My bill will assure that American agriculture remains the most prosperous, advanced, and efficient in the world. Only with your support can I hope to finish this crucial task. Thank you.”

DNC Major Newspaper Ad, Houston Chronicle Heartland, Full Page $930,000 "Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore; Send these, the homeless, tempest-tost to me, I lift my lamp beside the golden door!"Remember when these words used to mean something?"Republican Leader Rick McLaughlin wants to 'seal the border'. Republican Senator Uxbridge has called for a massive, multi-million dollar security fence to be built along the Mexican border. All the experts say this fence would be ineffective and a waste of money. That doesn't stop the Republicans from wanting one anyway. Republican William "Whitie" Power's speech " Keeping our Kinsmen Klean" in Texas should stand as an example to all Americans of the sort of positions the Republican Party advocates. The Republicans voted to reduce aid by 50% to foreign countries, but propose we spend huge sums of money to keep the immigrants fleeing poverty out. What the Republicans forget is that America is a nation founded on immigrantion. Every new wave of immigrants to this country have been greeted with hostility, but they have all been incorporated into our great culture just the same. The Republicans claim they're trying to fight Terrorism, but they're really just afraid. Show them that you're not afraid. Show them that there is never any excuse for discrimination or racism. Stand up and vote Democrat for safer, reasonable border dispute solutions that keep terrorists out while letting immigrants in. Come Election Day, tell the Republican Party that you're tired of paranoia and hostility. Vote Democrat for reasonable immigration policies and a strong, positive America." Goodwin:We must never accept the false peace of appeasement... Screen changes to picture of Dwight EisenhowerEisenhower: Realizing that common sense and common decency alike dictate the futility of appeasement, we shall never try to placate an aggressor by the false and wicked bargain of trading honor for security. Screen changes to a picture of Ronald ReaganReagan: The ultimate determinant in the struggle now going on for the world will not be bombs and rockets but a test of wills and ideas—a trial of spiritual resolve: the values we hold, the beliefs we cherish and the ideals to which we are dedicated.
