An amendment on this issue would be inappropriate as it is well within the established boundaries of states' rights.

This amendment would violate both the rights of the individual states, and it would be inappropriate to include such an issue in the constitution.

Even the wording of this proposed amendment is open to confusion and misinterpretations: potentially outlawing some Christian marriages if the word Celebrant is interpreted too narrowly while permitting marriages from highly unorthodox groups such as Satanic cults if it is interpretted widely.
I vote nay.
